What Is skills-manage?
skills-manage is a cross-platform desktop application (built with Tauri) that gives you a single control panel for managing AI coding skills across 13 agent platforms. Instead of manually copying SKILL.md files into each tool's directory, skills-manage maintains one canonical location (~/.agents/skills/) and symlinks from there to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenClaw, and every other supported platform.
Install a skill once. It appears everywhere. Key capabilities:
Central ~/.agents/skills/ directory
One source of truth for all your skills
Symlink to 13 platforms
Changes propagate automatically to every connected agent
Claude Code / Codex / OpenClaw support
Covers the most popular AI coding agents
One-click sync
Add, remove, or update skills from the GUI without touching config files
Local, no data upload
Your skills never leave your machine
Supported Platforms
skills-manage syncs to 13 AI agent platforms via symlinks. Currently supported targets include Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, OpenClaw, Codex, GitHub Copilot (agent mode), Kilo, Aider, Continue, and more. The platform list grows with community contributions.
How platform syncing works
When you install a skill through skills-manage, it places the skill folder in ~/.agents/skills/ and creates symbolic links into each platform's expected skills directory. When you update a skill, all linked platforms see the change immediately — no re-installation required.
How It Works
Step 1: Install skills-manage
Download the desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux.
Step 2: Browse and add skills
Use the built-in skill browser to find skills by category, or add any GitHub-hosted skill with a URL.
Step 3: Select your platforms
Check which agent tools you use. skills-manage creates the appropriate symlinks.
Step 4: Stay in sync
As skills update on GitHub, skills-manage notifies you. One click applies updates across all platforms.
