What Is nuwa-skill?
nuwa-skill is a meta-skill created by Alchain (alchaincyf) that generates new skills by distilling how a specific person thinks. Feed it any thinker's public content — essays, interviews, books, talks — and it produces a SKILL.md that captures their mental models, decision heuristics, and expression patterns.
The result is a reusable skill that causes Claude to reason through problems the way that thinker would. What gets distilled:
Mental model extraction
The core frameworks and lenses the thinker uses to analyze problems
Decision heuristic mapping
The rules of thumb and principles that guide their choices
Expression DNA capture
Vocabulary, sentence rhythm, analogy style, and rhetorical patterns
Research-backed responses
Output grounded in the thinker's actual documented positions
Agentic protocol generation
The resulting SKILL.md is ready for immediate use
How It Works
Step 1: Provide source material Give nuwa-skill a corpus: links to essays, a book excerpt, interview transcripts, or a YouTube transcript. More material produces more accurate distillation.
Step 2: Extraction The skill analyzes the content across four dimensions: conceptual frameworks (how they structure problems), decision patterns (how they choose between options), communication style (how they express ideas), and domain expertise (where their thinking is strongest).
Step 3: Skill generation nuwa-skill outputs a SKILL.md encoding the distilled thinking. The file includes the persona description, key mental models, decision heuristics, expression guidelines, and example prompts.
Step 4: Deploy and use Install the generated skill into Claude Code. When the skill is active, Claude approaches problems through the distilled thinker's lens.
